“Luke warm rating for a very average experience. Not enough staff. Not enough service. Rooms OK and clean. One freezing cold swimming pool - another heated. Not enough sun beds for guests on one of the days. All cramped together. No ambience. Breakfast good. WiFi intermittent. Most (not all) of the staff I met were friendly… there are just not enough of them! Missing lots of revenue opportunities for drinks around the pool and on the reception seating areas. Currently there are 10 of us waiting for taxis in the boiling heat and when I requested a drink I was told I needed to walk to the only open cafe… quite a distance with your travelling gear! Not great. Not a 5 star experience… I agree with Amanda H below - 3 star max.”

“Enjoyed staying at the Sheraton La Calenta Resort in Tenerife. The property is well placed for walks into town and along the coast. My room was spacious, had a king-sized bed and a balcony. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a lavish choice of dishes. The bathroom featured both a walk in shower and a bathtub, which I appreciate when staying in hotels.”
