Very nice hotel, (2nd visit), very friendly people and excellent service, just a couple of criticisms, there was no pool service and a bad shortage of sun bed parasols this was not good the hotel was busy and the weather was very hot. I reported the first day our shower hose was split this was never repaired. We stayed for 9 days. Paid premium for a premium Seaview room, we got the Seaview but the room was at the back of the hotel over looking the water treatment works, the balcony was much smaller than the hotel photos lead you to believe.

Great location with lovely restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Sadly the hotel closes at the end of June 2022 to be unnecessarily refurbished and change of brand. What is lovely about the whole area is the friendliness of the people and the outstanding service. Food is also of a high quality on par with big cities such as London and I would say far better than the south of France - especially for the price...!

Enjoyed staying at the Sheraton La Calenta Resort in Tenerife. The property is well placed for walks into town and along the coast. My room was spacious, had a king-sized bed and a balcony. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a lavish choice of dishes. The bathroom featured both a walk in shower and a bathtub, which I appreciate when staying in hotels.

Luke warm rating for a very average experience. Not enough staff. Not enough service. Rooms OK and clean. One freezing cold swimming pool - another heated. Not enough sun beds for guests on one of the days. All cramped together. No ambience. Breakfast good. WiFi intermittent. Most (not all) of the staff I met were friendly… there are just not enough of them! Missing lots of revenue opportunities for drinks around the pool and on the reception seating areas. Currently there are 10 of us waiting for taxis in the boiling heat and when I requested a drink I was told I needed to walk to the only open cafe… quite a distance with your travelling gear! Not great. Not a 5 star experience… I agree with Amanda H below - 3 star max.

This hotel is very nice - very accommodating. Several pools, several restaurants (although the opening times for these vary considerably), a small shop, and beach access. Room service actually tastes nice. The rooms are good too. I loved my little balcony and spent many hours reading in the fresh air. On an evening live music is performed in the central courtyard for all to enjoy. It creates a nice, communal atmosphere.
