Originally constructed in 1909 as Metropolitan Life Insurance Company’s headquarters, this clocktower, near Madison Square Park, has been ingeniously reinvented to offer luxury boutique accommodation, a tranquil hotel spa, chic new event spaces and a Michelin-starred restaurant helmed by Executive Chef Jason Atherton, all encompassed by 360-degree views of the City. The Clocktower restaurant offers updated classics and contemporary British fare by Michelin starred Chef Jason Atherton. “Very nice. The room was very nice and made great use of space. However, the bathroom could have been a little bigger. The elevators were slow and that was a little annoying at times, but I liked the system they use, and the fact that you have to swipe your key card in the lobby to gain access to the guest floors. The staff were very friendly. Definitely would stay here again.”
