NH Collection Marseille is a 4-star hotel situated between the old port and the city center of Marseille, in “La Joliette”. Its historical Haussmanian building is located in the old “Imperial Street” of Marseille, inaugurated by Napoleon III in 1864, and then renamed “Rue de la République” after his departure. You will find the main attractions of the city: “Le Vieux Port”, “Le Panier” and its picturesque little streets, and also “Le MUCEM”. Its 176 rooms have an elegant decoration in accordance with the charming Haussmanian style of the hotel. The hotel provides a wide range of customized services, such as the fully equipped fitness center and diverse meeting rooms. “Hotel was ok.But there’s a centralized heating system that effectively can’t be turned off in the rom. The set point is 22C, but it gets much hotter. Even when the thermostat is turned off, it resets itself at midnight back to blasting heat. Talked to the front desk staff multiple times, but it kept resetting itselfManagement should really investigate the thermostat issue. We barely slept during our stay because it got so hot at night.I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect control over the thermostat at a 4-star hotel”

“Una Gran decepción. Cuando vas a un NH Collection, te esperas otra cosa. En este caso, una habitación premium (de 200 euros día) amplia y confortable, pero con graves fallos. Un baño ridículo (adjunto foto) en el que no cabían dos personas a la vez . Además para acceder al inodoro había que cerrar la puerta del baño. Por otro lado, las ventanas son antiguas y se oía todo el ruido de la calle (especialmente el fin de semana, con gritos de gente joven). y para acabar en el pasillo de acceso a la habitación olía a basura. El desayuno de calidad y abundante. El Hall del hotel, demasiado pequeño (sobre todo cuando llegaban grupos). En fin, una lastima y un hotel impropio de la cadena.”
