The beach is only 200 metres away from this luxury hotel. Situated on the cliff of Ponta de Cruz somewhat outside Funchal, the hotel affords wonderful views. The town centre is 3 km away. Links to the public transport network lie just 50 m away, whilst restaurants and shops may be found within 100 m of the hotel. The airport is approximately a 35-minute drive away. It is only 30 minutes on foot from Formosa beach and has direct access to Promenade do Lido, the famous promenade in Madeira. Surrounded by magnificent gardens is the island's largest outdoor saltwater swimming pool with views of the sea. The hotel has a Spa, with a Jacuzzi, sauna, gym, Turkish bath and even a panoramic indoor swimming pool, in addition to massages and/or spa treatments.

“La cena para ser de 5☆ es muy pero muy escasa.El otro dia se acabó a las 21.30 horas el atun para la plancha y pusieron carne. Solo 1 planchista para todo. Tienes que hacer cola.en el desayuno es muchisimo tiempo y solo hay 1 tostasor. Yo le quitaría una estrella ya!!. Fuí por una celebración personal y tuve q pagar 30 euros por dia ya que donde hice la reserva no pude reservar habitacion con vistas.Total 120Euros. Nos recogían a las 18.30 y no nos dieron opcion a salir un poco mas tarde. Si quería 25 euros para esa hora.Yo no pedía tanto solo un par de horas mas pero no dieron opcion. Lo de desctivarse las llaves..un sufrimiento.. A su favor me pusieron un vino y un pastelito para celebrar mi aniversarío. Un 10 por eso. Deje las maletas en el guarda maletas y tuve que pasar yo a cogwrlas.5☆ no sé donde se ven . Los camareros un 10 por su atencion.las duchas de la piscina un desastre.m”
