“I was at the hotel for a dinner and dance event and I found the staff to be very professional. The banqueting room used was very spacious, well laid out and decorated. The food that was prepared mostly but the hotel was really good, delicious, well laid out and served. Also the toilet facilities was very clean and modern. It was a very good night.”

“Staff at the front desk were very welcoming but never really saw or spoke with them during our stay, even when we called the front desk from the room no one would ever answer. The phone was crackly and old anyway, wouldn't know if we could hear anyone if answered. First note I had was the odour, a stuffy, strange old smell, probably from the carpet everywhere just needed a really strong industrial vacuum rather than the Henry that would always be hanging around on the side of the corridor. The room was a bit too dusty that a spider was part of the room's light fitting and no one who cleaned the room everyday noticed. There also were not many plugs and were only found in odd places not near the bed or seating. There was a broken plug that a floor lamp was supposed to be plugged into, didn't work so there wasn't much light for the room. Bathroom somehow didn't have an exhaust fan nor a window so I don't know how that's normal. Bathroom is kept clean though just very strange that the lock is on the outside, what's the point? I ended up buying my own teabags as the tea they offered for free was naff, but they gave canned water everyday which was nice. Food was also nice for main meals but for breakfast I'd rather enjoy it in a local cafe. The best thing about this hotel is how close it is to central London for the price but I'm sure there are other hotels around that could be a better option.”

I am Hilton Honors member and have stayed in many Hilton’s over the years. The cleanliness and upkeep of this hotel were severely below standard. Upon entering the room I noticed several hairs in the bathroom shower. Also found a spider in the room. I had to ask for house keeping to re clean it-which they did, and I appreciate. Later, I also found loose hairs in the bed. Besides this issue on night one there seems to be a discrepancy with the website and room descriptions as we booked a “double guest room” and according to photos they gave us a “single guest room” to start our stay. They changed our room to a true “double guest room” for the rest of the stay. The manager at the front desk said they do not have a room called “single guest room” so they do not know why that is online….
The second room we had was a connecting room and it felt like we had roommates for the rest of the stay, we were able to hear everything our neighbors spoke about and every noise they made.
On our last day starting at 8:30 AM housekeeping was knocking on our door for us to check out. This happened again at 8:45 AM with housekeeping fully opening the door while we were trying to sleep.
Other notable observations :hotel rooms are very small , furniture very outdated, beds make constant noise with slightest movement, ice machines don’t work on multiple floors, plugs for charging are in inconvenient places, hallways are horribly maintained(walls peeling and doors completely discolored)
and lastly, it is an extremely busy hotel with not enough staff.
Upside to the hotel is that it is walking distance to Notting hill. The breakfast in the restaurant downstairs is good.
Overall, I would not recommend staying here. The pictures on the website are extremely deceiving.Every room is different. I personally stepped into 5 different rooms, and none of them have the same characteristics.
Just to also note: on the first night I reached out via email and no one has gotten back to me 6 days later.

In general quite nicely located place with decent restaurant. I had however some makeup items missing from my room after first day of stay, and the case wasn't resolved anyhow. As nothing was spotted on cameras, assumed nothing happened. Never mind that makeup items are quite small. Hope nobody else will face the same issue. In any case - consider using safe for more valuable small items.

The location of the hotel is great. But it's way too expensive per night for the kind of room we got.
I know it's London, but there's a few areas of cleanliness and overall upkeep that could be improved. The hotel is very famous for hosting cabin crews and commercial airline pilots, so it's almost always busy, any time of the day, which is nice. Their breakfast is not bad at all, and their kitchen is actually pretty decent.
