Exceptional hotel and staff. We recently stayed at the Hotel Goldener Hirsch for two nights and fell in love with the place. My wife and I have stayed at many Marriott properties and this is one of our favorites now. The location is right in the middle of some of the best shopping and not far at all from the sights. We found that all of the staff were genuine and very attentive. We came in via rental car and they did not rush us as we offloaded. The morning we checked out, they had our car pre positioned and ready to go before we even had to ask. The room was awesome with some fun personality to it. Next time we are in Salzburg, this will be our go to hotel. A special thanks to Ana Marie who was at the front desk when we checked in and set the tone for exceptional service.

The hotel was beautiful with a stunning mix of old world charm and modern amenities. The service from the entire staff was truly phenomenal and by far the best I have experienced at any hotel. Would highly recommend the Goldener Hirsch for anyone who wants a special stay in Salzburg!

What a unique property built in 1407. This Marriott hotel is fantastic. The rooms were spacious and super comfortable. The staff had great advice for restaurants. The hotel is situated in a perfect location.

One of the loveliest hotels we have ever stayed at! The staff was so kind, the room was impeccable, and the setting was gorgeous. We were especially appreciative of the comfortable bed (and the Austrian double comforter) and the phenomenal breakfast and service there. The whole experience was like a fairytale.

The Hotel Goldener Hirsch at Austria 🇦🇹 is one of most luxurious hotel in world. . The hotel is in the heart of the medieval old town, surrounded by shops displaying wrought-iron guild signs. You can walk to pretty much anything, including Mozart’s birthplace, just down the street. Because driving can be a hassle—pedestrian-only areas, inscrutable road signs—you’re better off taking the train from Vienna or Munich

Staff, location, service, food, rooms - all 5 stars. We could not find a fault. Not your average cookie cutter 5 star hotel, but a very refined Austrian experience. Every little detail is well thought of. Staff were not only professional and attentive (the least we should expect), they were also genuine. A memorable stay that we hope to replicate again soon - next time with friends and family!

Hotel Goldener Hirsch will make your stay in Austria 10X better! The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are amazing, and the location right in the heart of Salzburg can’t be beat. My girlfriend and I stayed there for three nights and they were the best three nights of our trip. Highly, highly recommend!
