“The staff was amazing and the rooms were comfortable and clean.I wasn't in the mood for the continental breakfast so I can't speak to that. It's very convenient to everything in downtown Salt Lake. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because I'm a lite sleeper and it's pretty noisy around there.”

“This location is primely situated in downtown Salt Lake City with easy access to all of the local businesses, restaurants, bars/pubs, shopping, etc. The staff was welcoming and friendly during my (unexpected) 2am arrival. The room was appropriately furnished, including a desk and side arm chair. The bed and pillows were also very comfortable, which isn’t common for my extensive traveling. I wasn’t overly impressed with the “hot breakfast”, but this location meets all of my expectations for a (lower tier) Marriott brand.
Only a few negatives:
- The view from my window was horrible. It’s essentially just the wide side of a building construction site.
- The bathroom setup is a little weird and the toilet paper roll/dispenser is awkwardly close to the toilet itself. I’m not sure any adult could use the toilet without hitting their knees/legs against it.
- In the shower, they’ve moved the shampoo, conditioner, and soap dispensers to the middle wall, instead of the back wall or under the shower head. This makes it painful and awkward to use for most folks and I can’t really wrap my mind around why you’d do that.
- There’s no logical, wide-enough space to put your suitcase on the wrack. The room and closet is entirely too small for it. No matter where you put it, it blocks the hallway, chair, A/C unit, fridge, etc.”
