What happened to your rooftop bar? Sorry, we loved your hotel actually. But this "improvement" completely screwed our experience, very very much. The rooftop bar was a reason to return to this hotel. Now it's a reason to not come back again. 2 years ago it was a very chilling place with own DJ, cool music, amazing place. Now it's disaster. The music doesn't have to be super-cool, it just needs to be chilling, not disturbing. Now there is extremely disturbing, loud live music EVERY DAY. I guess it's a way how to attract new customers during Covid. I understand your intention, but sorry we really don't like it and it's a reason why we won't come back.

Beautiful hotel with amazing service. This hotel is so special and a wonderful place to experience a staycation. Check in was so personalised and done so well. We were brought up to the club lounge on the 28 floor to do our check in. The service managers were so warm, personable and friendly. The wood room we got was simple and elegant in design and very beautiful. Breakfast at Red Oven was certainly an experience to remember and finally the pool area and bar was so good also.

Best hotel experience ever. The service is just wonderful, thanks to all the staff (from the bar to the reception to the So Club, all perfect). Rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Really perfect center city hotel.

Where is the six star option for this hotel???Not my first stay here, will certainly be remembered for ever, and definitely not my last stay.I checked in on 23rd December for three nights, and my best girlfriend was flying in from Sydney on Christmas Eve. As per the rules, she was to self isolate in her room till she got her negative covid result. Well unfortunately that didn't happen and Christmas morning she was told she was positive. Obviously devastating news for Christmas.The team at SO were totally amazing. SO Auk (Director of Rooms) can not be thanked enough for everything she did. Everything from suggesting which 'hospitel' to go to, to arranging everything for the move. Reassurance from her to my friend was well and truly above and beyond what would be expected from any staff member. Especially on Christmas Day when the hotel was probably at its COVID-19 peak of busy...ness. As it was Christmas Day, the staff allowed me pay for the buffet for her and sent a few plates to her room. All the staff - AMAZING!A huge special thanks also to the Director of Marketing Khun Matty who was just an amazing woman. What an addition to the team at SO. It was her day off, and obviously knowing the situation of a covid positive guest in-house, she came in. As an additional wow to her, she offered to have Christmas lunch with me, What an absolute angel.I ended up staying an additional night so my friend new I was close by to her in Bangkok. Definitely my hotel of choice in my most favourite city in the world.Thank you again Khun Matty and Khun Auk for everything you did. Words can not describe the comfort you both gave to me and my best girlfriend.Oh - also the hotel is just gorgeous with amazing views, what I think is the best pool in town, great rooms, best location and super friendly, happy and helpful staff everywhere!Love it. Thanks guys. X

What a fantastic way to begin the new year. My spouse and I had a wonderful time at the SO Hotel. Their staff are highly attentive, helpful, and well-trained, which I greatly value and appreciate. Our roomy suite came with a massive and impressive bathroom. The lounge on the 25th floor is a true gem. Overall, a wonderful stay.

I liked everything about my experience, except for one thing during my 4 night stay. After agreeing to a nightly rate of 4100 baht, for some reason the hotel employee tried to add on an extra 2000 baht to my grand total.I found this out after I paid my bill. He explained that the last two night was based on the hotel occupancy rate. I was not made aware of this flexible hotel rate based on the occupancy rate when I made my booking in person at the hotel. After going back and forth with this hotel employee, I told him I wanted to reimbursed for the difference, and paid the agreed upon nightly price. The hotel would have gotten a 5 star rating, besides everything else was really great! But seriously, just be honest with the pricing, and never do the bait and switch.

What a fabulous way to celebrate Christmas with family and friends. There was every possible choice of food to suit every guest - vegans included. The service was excellent. Great atmosphere - no complaints for our table of 13. Thanks for a most enjoyable Christmas lunch.

Went there for Thanksgiving celebration at Redoven. Good service. Parking available on 3rd floor onwards. Good view seating required to be booked in advance. Buffet prices could vary from online vs actual walk in. Better to call up to check on the prices. Limited wine variety.

Foi simplesmente incrível se hospedar lá por 3 dias. O que me deixou impressionando foi toda a atenção que os funcionários tiveram comigo. Também não posso deixar de falar na estrutura luxuosa e contemporânea do hotel que está em uma excelente localizaçãoperto do Parque Lumphini. Reserve uma tarde para a piscina de borda infinita e Não esqueça de pegar a bike do hotel para passear no parque em frente.

Updated review with staycation at SO Sofitel Bangkok 2021 The room as great as ever, doesn't show aging and still spacious as ever with plenty of lighting which I prefer. The bathroom is nice and again very spacious with bathtub. The room service is great and taste great, you can also order from the smart TV. The bed is the highlight, it is super comfortable and I sleep like a light. With the super location, I definitely would recommend it perfect for business or leisure. This is a very cool and chic hotel with a perfect location whether it is for business or leisure. It is in between the shopping district, business and also in front of a beautiful park that feels like New York's central park. The experience is unlike any other hotel, you are seated when you are checking in then the ambassador will approach you to take care of your paperwork while a cool welcome drink is something you need to take photo or video. They have different design of rooms, my personal favorite is the wood element and design is the emphasize of this hotel using French and Thai influence that keeps it balanced. The food is amazing, try the DRUNCH promo every Saturday. And also the Park Society at the top floor that opens for dinner and drinks only from 6 pm. The pool is also located on the top overlooking the park. There is something calm and chic yet well balanced, would definitely recommend. The staff are extremely friendly too.

This is really a fun and chic hotel to stay. Playfully decorated and sophisticated, the hotel is well located for getting around to the business district and other places by the MRT. F&B for in-room dining are generally pricey, compared to other hotels at this time, but breakfast offered a la carte is quite good in terms of value, taste, and presentation. The table service is also efficient and the view certainly helps in making a good start of the day. Turndown service seemed like a scaled-back version still but it's understandable. Staff are also friendly and efficient throughout.

Should have been five star if the service and maintenance were better. The park view is fantastic; however, the rooms are a little bit dated. Some furnitures need replacement. There’s several stain in the bathroom and walls. The hallway is a bit too dark. The rooftop bar is noisy every night so I recommend avoiding the high floor rooms.

Delighting modern Thai hotel experience in Bangkok. Under no circumstances you should miss the breakfast buffet in the morning, and at night admire Bangkok skyline from the rooftop. Breathtaking!

SOSHI:I bought the Hungry Hub premium menu and all items on that menu were very good and are of premium quality/portion. Their usual premium menu items are also good. The staff were very courteous, knowlegible and were with service mind (except for one younger one who need training). It was my 3rd visit and will definitely return again, especially if the Hungry Hub menu becomes an addition to the normal menu.

One place that exudes art, bestows luxury and comfort, cooks up some haute cuisine in its restaurant , stores an array of Vintage wine to dazzle your taste bud, houses its own Belgian Chocolate lab, provides theme room in 3 choice elements of Water Metal or Earth, — it’s got to be the SO Bangkok.Special mentions goes to thestaff at the VIP Lounge and the Ladies working restaurant who are all Fantastically friendly and sweet. The Bangkok Hotel makes your stay feels SO good never felt SO right.

Reasonably priced, high quality and great location. Three qualities every traveller looks for in a hotel, can be found at the Sofitel Bangkok. Staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive or fake. The rooms have great views of Lumpini park and the city. The rooms are functionally well designed, with unique styling and character. The food is excellent and the restaurant is beautifully designed. Staying here will be the high point of your trip to Bangkok.

We stayed here during Xmas 2020. There was plenty of attention to detail regarding Covid. Hotel room was fab - we had the Water element room with views of the park. The rooms could do with being updated, some small noticeable errors like scuffs on the walls, water stains etc. However we had a fantastic time. Also the Xmas day brunch was AMAZING!
