Nice hotel with modern rooms. My personal favorite is the fact that they don’t have carpets instead using wooden floors unlike many other hotels in the area. Nice Italian restaurant with a good view across the skyline (if u can see sth due to.. reasons). They are also offering a roof top bar with live bands. If you are there during times of a global pandemic don’t wonder if locals are leaving the elevator when they see you entering.

You'll love the variety of foods from twelve types of cereals and nuts to traditional Chinese cooking to Western style cooked breakfasts all served to your table by attentive and alert staff - or you can help yourself. Go back another day for breakfast and you'll be surprised at how the staff remember that you have your coffee just so .. with a side jug of full cream milk .. and that your spouse likes black tea! etc etc You can't ask for more. 30Dec17 2:55PM Highly recommend the Grand Hyatt Shenyang. Extremely fast ground floor lobby reception operations will put luggage staff at the side of your car or coach within seconds of you pulling up at the front doors. You won't have to lift a finger because the luggage staff will direct you to take the lifts up to the L reception Lobby where multilingual concierge and bookings staff will check your bookings and allocate your rooms, keys and myriad other traveller-data to make your stay comfortable and smooth. Some reviewers say the decor is dated and there's outstanding maintenance but I haven't seen any examples and my wife and I have been here six days since 30Dec17. Anyway none of it matters to me because we travelled for 24 hours from New Zealand to get here with my wife and we're staying for eight days and the hotel staff have made all the appropriate first impressions on us. Keep it up Grand Hyatt!
