“Resort muy sobrevalorado. No desperdicies la prima extra en este lugar. Parecía que no había comunicación entre el personal. Los pedidos eran incorrectos en todas las comidas. El servicio fue muy lento en algunos lugares. Estuvimos allí para la boda de un amigo y dos días antes todavía estaban tratando de obtener detalles de cuándo y dónde. Los mayordomos nunca llegaban a tiempo y el personal seguía inventando excusas para no llegar. El desayuno de luna de miel de nuestros amigos nunca fue entregado. Luego apareció sin previo aviso un día tarde con solo comida para uno, no para dos. Llegó al punto en que estábamos haciendo apuestas sobre cuántos errores se cometerían. Sandals promueve un gran servicio pero simplemente no entregan. El personal está sobrecargado de trabajo o muy poco capacitado y nadie es responsable de ninguno de los errores. “My husband and I stayed on a Club level beach front room at Sandals Barbados. The resort is gorgeous and impeccably maintained. The landscaping is lush and tropical and everything you're looking for in a Caribbean vacation resort. The management seems to focus on treating guests really well upon arrival and departure but they need to sprinkle that customer service throughout the resort - particularly at the restaurants. This was my first experience with any Sandals property at all but I definitely felt like service was not consistent throughout my stay. I asked other guests that I came across and the resounding opinion from everyone was they felt more like they were treated like a nuisance rather than a valued guest. I will say a few employees went out of their way to be helpful, while it felt like others went out of their way to be difficult. Maybe it's staffing issues due to Covid, maybe it's cultural differences but it's definitely an area that can and needs to be improved. There's no excuse for feral cats to have their run of all of the outdoor restaurants. It's a problem that should be a priority for Sandals to deal with. My husband and I didn't have a single outdoor dining experience - day or night where we didn't have to deal with them. Lastly if you're hoping to enjoy a tropical cocktail concoction on the beach do yourself a favor and buy a bottle of duty free rum (or whatever your alcohol preference is) at the airport to supplement. They DEFINITELY water everything down.”
