Very nice rooms. I recommend booking a river view!! Tongs for others ice bucket had mold on them and the pool area is off limits. It appears that they are remodeling the pool area. We were not notified of this.

Proximity to Bourbon Street Service was not good. We could not check in until 3 hours after check in time because our room wasn't ready. Then they sent us to a room that had not been cleaned.

The elegance of the room. The hotel was under construction and the smell of paint was prevalent, as well as drip marks on the walls. We had headaches from the smells. You also have to take two elevators to exit, one of which has no ac. Also, NO POOL, which was included in listing.

The room with a river view is spectacular. The room service and food are excellent. The television selections are a bit limited. The frig is more of a cold box than frig which, for a multi-night stay, is not good. The 11th floor lobby is beautiful.

The top sheet had a big yellow stain. I tried asking two maids the same question about getting. A new sheet but they were too busy listening to headphones to notice

The front desk agent was excellent. The location is great. The view from the lobby is second to none. The power outlets on the desk didn't work. The ottoman was unclean. There was a folded piece of cardboard being used to stabilize an otherwise wobbly table near the door. The carpet in the room made the room smell stale.
