“Beautiful lobby, beautiful rooms. Very clean. Beds can be a bit more comfortable. Great breakfast options in beautiful restaurant/bar. Staff aim to please. Stacey from the restaurant went out of her way to make us comfortable and customized the French toast for us. Manuela was very friendly as well. Overall favorite hotel on the seaport.”

“I am someone who always reads the reviews before going anywhere, but don't usually write one. I wanted to take the time to rate my experience at the Envoy.
First, the hotel was absolutely stunning. The downstairs bar had great service, and the bartender was very friendly. Our room was ready upon arrival which was a nice surprise, since we got there much earlier than the 4pm normal check-in time.
The location was absolutely perfect. Lots of cool places in walking distance, and if not in walking distance, it was a short uber commute.
The main reason for the 4 star rating rather than 5 star rating was the physical room. It was much smaller than we anticipated (which is not a huge deal), but the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. My husband and I do not mind paying a little extra for our hotel room, because we do like to enjoy the amenities of the hotel and room, but for the price I was very let down by the actual bed and room. The bed felt like we were laying on a hard floor, and upon waking up, both of our backs were hurting. I would recommend some upgraded mattresses, or at least a box spring under the mattress. The one other thing was the AC kicking on and off was very loud and it didn't seem that the hotel had much sound barrier for the outside, because were heard every noise outside (which was tough when trying to sleep).
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and I would definitely considering staying there again if the mattresses were upgraded.”
