“I arrived and had no instruction on where to park my car while checking in. Valet is closed due to Covid-19, however, there was no attendant or signage that I could see to explain where I should move my car instead. I ended up leaving my car in an alley and it was late and night with little lighting so I felt pretty unsafe. The check in process was easy, but once I got in the hotel room I noticed how dirty it was. There were multiple long hairs on the bed, the grout in the bathroom looked like it hadn't been touched in years, and the towels were unfolded and appeared to have been used. I asked to be moved to another room and was moved to a room that also had hair on the bed. If it weren't so late, I would have gone to a different hotel. The front attendant was very nice and that's why I am leaving 2 stars.”

“Stayed for one night with check in 10/8 and check out 10/9. Pros: - clean room - great location for Broadway/ Bridgestone Arena Cons: - ‘this is a no smoking property’ signs are a joke. As soon as we walked in there was a covered up cigarette smoke smell. It was even worse on the elevators and on our floor, but I will say, you couldn’t smell it in the room. - the pillows had hair and a stain on them, so I called the front desk to get new ones. I was put on hold and then the call disconnected - The unwelcome 8:30 AM wake-up call. We were woken up by a woman knocking on our door saying ‘housekeeping’. We replied we didn’t need anything and she kept knocking. Finally my boyfriend opened the door to a woman asking when we were leaving. It was really weird because we didn’t ask to be waken up and she didn’t have anything to identify she was with the hotel. We quickly packed up our things and headed out. As the waited for the elevator, a man came from an another room (also not identified as a hotel employee) asking if we are leaving and from what room. It was weird and if I had been staying here alone it would’ve been pretty unsettling. I’ve never heard of someone coming to my room 2.5 hours before checkout asking when I was leaving. Aloft is that how you treat your guests when they’re paying over $500 for one night?”
