This was a last minute booking for our family when we got stranded in FLL. We expected an average airport hotel experience when booking but this location exceed all expectations. The front desk team went above and beyond to welcome and accommodate us, the room was clean and comfortable. The shower was incredible and so were the in-room amenities. No weird smells, no dirt, everything seemed new and pristine. The airport shuttle was on-time and convenient. Very grateful to this hotel for hosting us.

Very poor experience from a Marriott brand. The airport shuttle did not have enough room for all of our group, which is completely understandable. Three of us stayed behind for a second shuttle they were sending ASAP. Over an hour later a second shuttle finally arrived. Mind you the drive is 7 minutes to the hotel from the airport. When the first part of our group arrived shortly after 3 pm for our 3 pm check in, we were told that the rooms were not available and it would be “2 minutes to 2-3 hours.” When questioning further, we were told there were Rewards members not wanting to leave their room and they were not going to tell them they needed to leave. With 5 children in tow, we asked about food and were told the restaurant does not open until 5 pm. I went to the Taco Bell next door, and when I brought food back we were rather rudely told we could not eat in the lobby area which also happens to be the restaurant, despite the fact no other patrons were there and the restaurant wasn’t even open! We tried to go get a drink at the bar for some relief, and as our 5 year old followed us we were again rudely told we could not have her there. The bar is in the lobby, literally 20 feet from the check in desk! I understand being busy, but this was poor customer service at its worst. I hope my call to the customer service does ultimately end with some change in the attitude and service of the employees here. This is from from the service we are used to with Marriott brands.

The reception was good. Helpful and kind. The rooms left a lot to be desired. Our door wouldn't lock from the outside (didn't need a card to enter). So we ended up just having to leave one of us in the room when we had to get something to eat. No cold water, just scolding hot. Right beside one of the highways. Which is not always an issue but the windows have no sound proofing and you can hear every motorcycle, every vehicle with a loud exhaust and every cop car that went by through the night. I used points and at 35000 points this hotel is a complete scam. This is a category 1 hotel at most. Would not recommend.

The Smell of mold old nasty carpet & mildew irritated me all night. I knew when the driver pulled up & I walked in this was NOT going to be a great stay! That smell is so annoying. The hallway/halls smells too. Bathrooms very outdated as you can see the tub is nasty w/hair. A/C leaking something. I did Not feel comfy at staying here. I had a super long flight, sleep deprived so I cancelled my other 2 nights & just stayed the 1 & found an awesome 6 star way cheaper than $260 a night. This definitely was NOT worth $160 a night. lobby only thing looks decent!

Our room booking was last minute and we couldn’t have been happier staying here. The location was nice, near the beach and several places to eat or refresh. The hotel itself had a pleasant ambience, we enjoyed ourselves at the bar. The room was cozy and comfortable. Nathaniel was very kind with providing us our room and more.
