“This is not a 5 star hotel and not worth the your overpriced room rates. I was sick during my stay and confined to my room for 4 days. Because of that I became very familiar with your room service and house keeping. I did not have any room cleaning or turn down service during my stay since I was sick. But I would request new water bottles of water twice a day when housekeeping was in the hallway in the mornings and evenings. I also requested fresh clean glasses. This is where I encountered problems. It took me until the 4th day to figure out that the cleaning staff was giving me dirty used glasses from the storage/refuge room that was located across the hall from me. There was no storage of clean glasses in that room, only a bin of dirty glasses. When I finally figured this out and and told the housekeeper I knew she was giving me a dirty glass, she apologized profusely.
She came back a few hours later offering me a glass she said was clean. Also I think the glasses that appear freshly cleaned after housekeeping has been in the room morning and evening are just your dirty glasses that have been cleaned in the room by the staff.
Another complaint I have is with the room service and restaurant food. There is no functioning room service phone line. The restaurant extension would be put my call to voice mail. Several times I had to give my order to the reception staff. The Christmas day dinner was overpriced at $150 fixed price. It was one of the worst dinners I have ever had with a small portion of overcooked meat and unappealing food.
The best part of the hotel is the reception staff who were very cordial and tried to be helpful. I thought the decor of the hallways and rooms was just average and not really 5 star. In particular there is a dated old brick wall fountain in the hallway of the 2nd and 3rd floor. The hotel art was not inspiring and was ordinary considering the hotel is in Santa Fe.”

“I love the Inn. After my first visit many years ago with my husband (deceased in 2004), I knew I could never stay anywhere else; I was home! And I’ve brought friends/family on five following occasions. Not only is the facility itself beautiful and meticulously maintained, but staff is always, to a person, kind, exceptionally thoughtful and professional. No one ever forgets my name when I’m there. Unfortunately, there was a significant power outage this visit during my last day—the day I added beyond those scheduled with my friend Lori, to have for myself to simply “be home” at the Inn. I became chilled and very uncomfortable. Not the Inn’s fault but a deep disappointment for me because at age 83 + health issues, I will not have another opportunity to visit. I will, however, continue to sing your praises. Thank you, thank you everyone for being who you are and blessing me in your being.
