“Went for a relaxing weekend getaway. It was about a 15 minute drive from downtown Richmond, Va. Overall, the hotel is okay. The staff were nice. They have a parking lot; part of it was shared with a clinic right across from them. Finding a spot to park wasn't difficult considering how small the parking lot is. Upon entering the building, there was a very pungent chlorine smell, which came from their pool area. The smell travelled throughout the entire first floor. That alone made me not want to get in the pool. The elevator felt rickety while standing in it and it would pause for almost 10 seconds before opening the door to your floor. I preferred taking the stairs after the elevator experience. The room entry keys sometimes did not work until re-inserting them a couple times. The room itself appeared clean. The air condition unit in the room made a loud coughing noise every time it turned on. Breakfast was included; a few pastries, fruits, toast, cereal, yogurt, pancakes/waffles, sausages, eggs, juices, and coffee.”

“Arrived at 3pm got to room had to leave as we are here for football tournament. Got back to room went to pool there was a guy passed out at hot tub told front desk. Pool is freezing 🥶 😫 😩 kids swam for about 20 min said it was to cold went back to room heater didn't work fridge was frozen and wouldn't shut, shower rod was broke! Went to front desk she moved us to another room right away this room is much better the front desk lady was amazing very nice and thoughtful! Motel could use some updates and a pool heater but other than that good place and very nice staff so far”
