“The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. They went out of their way to give us places to eat or gift shop. However, Whilst there are always exceptions for historic sites not being squeaky clean, shiny, and new, there is still a standard. The furniture was dusty, the toilet seat had a stripped screw, there were cobwebs in the ceiling, and the tub had a visible layer of greasy dirt on the rim. The Inn has vast potential but needs a nice spring clean. As for location, it gets points for being near the water, but there are a lot of misplaced persons everywhere you look and the city looks a bit rundown. I know nothing of this town, and we came in the off season, so maybe there's a reason for all that I saw, but my rating stands.”

“Highly accommodating. Poor guy had to walk outside at 2am to let me park. Room was fantastic, bed made of clouds. Wish I could have stayed more, the grounds looked beautiful. We'll have to come back. It was like benbow on a budget.”
