“With as many good reviews for this hotel I was hopeful to have a good experience when staying in this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful and even waived our parking fee due to the wait to get checked-in. Beyond that, the hotel itself was not impressive. There was an odor as soon as we walked into our suite. Everything is very old/dated and worn. When I sat down on the couch I could not miss the smell that was on the furniture. The whole couch was oily because of how much it had been used and the arms on the couch were black from the number of hands that have been on them. There were large black stains all over the carpet through the entire suite. The bathroom was in better condition, but there was hair on the shower walls left from the last guest. The light switches didn't totally engage unless you pressed hard on the rocker switches and all the lamps had been unplugged in the entire suite. All in all, for the price we paid for the night we stayed I had higher expectations that were not met. I would suggest skipping this place and going someplace newer.”

“I normally love Embassy Suites. The atmosphere is usually so calming and relaxing. This visit was a bit different - it was New Year's Eve so that may have been the difference this time:) I was just looking for a warm place to lay my head and take a shower that night (the true little things in life.) The food was fantastic!!!! But, the rooms need way more attention to cleanliness and basic request like blankets and such on a cold night. Overall, I ate well, stayed warm and safe, and met some interesting people on the journey. So life is good!!! :) I'm so humbled and thankful!!!”
