“I would stay here again. The nightly rate and the location were solid. The room and facilities are clean. Some normal/irritating wear and tear in room 902 was evident (card slot for energy saving was not functional - card in/out no change. Buttons for DND & service not functional. Shower Towel rack would always fall apart when you touched the towel. That soap dish 🧼 placement is silly 😜). Facade of hotel was under maintenance; however, this did not affect my stay. Staff was friendly, multilingual and efficient. The 🚿 shower size and water pressure were excellent!! 🙌🏽”

The room decoration is quite outdated, the pool is awful and the gym needs a complete replacement of equipments. However, the staff is very nice and always ready to help and please you. And the best of all on my opinion is it’s location, right next to “Parcão” a famous local park where families spend time on the weekends and on any spare time and is also in front of a famous local street which is full of fancy bars/pubs and restaurants. Not to mention the shopping mall attached to the hotel which gives you easy access to any shop needs. Below some pictures from the 21st floor (it also have a great view). The hotel and staff were exemplary. The front desk employees (day and night) were extremely helpful and sincerely nice. I would recommend the Hilton and the Porto Alegre location to family, friends, and colleagues.

All good except front desk. Senior manager, please provide training to Rodrigo sitting on front desk at 0200 on 03 Sept. he is very annoying to guests, super slow, does not understand English. I am sure, you can find better workers in pOa?

The rooms are quite dated, I felt a bit on the 90s. However, it is still very comfortable, the service was good and the location is perfect.

Excellent hotel in a fabulous location!
We stayed for 18 nights in May 2022.
This is the very best hotel in Porto Alegre.
Breakfast was great, with tons of food options and a huge selection of fruit. Our waiter Marco was so attentive, after the first morning he remembered our food and beverage preferences, he was super-efficient and very friendly.
Extra big shout out to Giovanna in the executive lounge, she was so very friendly and welcoming.
Many thanks to Milka at the reception, she made our stay extra special. Our room was excellent, clean, quiet, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
The fact that the Hotel is connected to Shopping Moinhos was a bonus. You can walk straight into the mall to go shopping, eat, drink coffee, go to Hugo Beauty (an excellent hair salon), or go to the movies.
The hotel is in one of the best neighborhoods of Porto Alegre, Moinhos de Vento. Parcão (Moinhos de Vento Park) is only a block away; there are many great options of restaurants, bars, cafes, and shops within a block or two from the hotel.
We absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Porto Alegre and will definitely stay there again.

I had stayed at this hotel in 2021 when it was a different brand, and again in 2022 when it became a Hilton. I am pleased to report that the switch, as of April, did not make a difference to the hotel's excellent quality. From check in to (sadly) check out, the Hilton Porto Alegre maintains the status of the city's very best hotel.
The location cannot be beaten! This hotel is in Moinhos de Vento burrough, the nicest area of Porto Alegre, and attached to the Moinhos Shopping mall that adds a layer of safety and convenience. You can enter the hotel by the mall entrance. Elevators require a working room key to function but security is visible from every angle. The adjoining mall has nice cafes, a movie theater, a salon, clothing stores, restaurants, a nice all-purpose store (Lojas Americanas) where you can buy everything from SIM cards to soft drinks to electronics.
As a Diamond member, I had access to the excellent breakfast buffet and the Executive Lounge for evening cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. The lounge is smallish but does not disappoint, with Caipirinhas made to order, beer, wine, and other liquor, and a varied menu of finger foods. I started my evenings here in front of my laptop while still working, and it was a pleasure to turn it into a happy hour with the privileged views of Parcão, the Moinhos' very nice park as dusk turned into evening.
Lastly but very importantly, along with the quality standards, the friendly folks who make every stay special are still around under the Hilton flag. Special thanks to Saulo, the front desk manager, and Giovana, the Lounge attendant, and Tania and João at breakfast, among others whose names I don't know (yet) but have made each stay special. Saulo, Giovana, Tania, João, muito obrigado pela sua atenção e simpatia. Vocês são a razão pela qual o Hilton Porto Alegre é um lugar especial! Até a próxima!

It's a lovely place to stay with very nice staff.
Milka in reception was exceptional, going to great lengths to ensure my stay was smooth. This included arranging a covid test I could take (which I never would have found without her assistance).

Good location, plenty of bars and restaurants in direct proximity of the venue. Friendly and attentive reception staff. Well organized breakfast area. Rooms a bit rough in terms of style yet pretty comfy.

Nice rooms, good size, beds are comfortable, amenities are below average. Breakfast is good. Team is very careful with their guests. Fitness center is well equipped, but small. Pool area is nice, great views, but pool itself is very small. The hotel is well located, several restaurants, pubs and even a mall around the hotel.
