Apartment-sized suites and extras like a free breakfast buffet are what make the non-smoking Residence Inn by Marriott Chico one of the area's most popular hotels among our guests. At the three-story Residence Inn the 78 suites all have full kitchens — so besides the usual refrigerators and microwaves there are ovens stoves toasters and even dishwashers. To stock the shelves take advantage of the grocery-shopping service. The mattresses are extra thick and even the sofa beds are unusually comfortable. The desks are perfect for catching up with your work. After a day of working or exploring relax in front of a flat-panel TV with instant access to lots of movies. There are piles of fluffy towels beside the outdoor heated pool a favorite with kids. Adults appreciate the fitness room with its cardio equipment. A free breakfast buffet is served every morning in the dining area. Pets are welcome with a nightly fee. Parking is free. Off of Highway 99 a half-mile from Silver Dollar Fairgrounds the Residence Inn is close to all of Chico's top attractions. Beer lovers will want to head to the thirst-quenching Sierra Nevada Brewery just over a mile north. If you're here for the big game the local campus of California State University is three miles northwest. Chico Municipal Airport is eight miles north.
