“I will not go back. This was my third time staying at the Mondrian, and it was just so disappointing.
We booked a studio suite with a balcony facing the bay. The view was the only thing redeeming about the room. Upon arrival, it wasn’t very clean. Toiletries provided by the hotel were half empty or completely empty, and there were stains on the white head board. I informed the concierge the room was dirty, and nothing was done about it.
Things got worse with the following:
- did not clean our room ( regular daily service) and we had to call the front desk and that’s when they sent someone up
- Hotel roof bar closed early - by 10:30pm. Pretty early for a hotel in Miami Beach, but what was really annoying was that we called ahead to ask if they were open. The front desk confirmed they were open for another 30 minutes. We immediately went downstairs and the bartender rudely told us they were closed…
- Someone complained about our noise level- we were playing music at 10pm using the speaker in the room. Security knocked on our door aggressively. Meanwhile when we get back to our room around 3am, a neighboring room was incredibly loud and no one seemed to care.
- We asked the front desk to extend the check out time from 11am to 1pm; the receptionist said she could push it to 12 but we need to call in the morning to confirm availability in order to push it out to 1pm. We call in the morning, they explain a completely different process where every other hour is an additional $75. We accept to only keep it at 12, which the hotel confirms again is ok; however, they still cut our card access at 11, so we had to go to the front desk to have them enable again.
For only a 2 night stay, we had to deal with too much attitude and disorganization. Additionally, the room not being given to us clean and it not being cleaned from regular service was pretty appalling.
I will give credit where it’s due, and the pool was very nice. We did notice a decline in the quality of food and drinks. Our waitress was very kind, and attentive. So at least the pool staff was solid.”

Hotel excelente e bem localizado. Em julho de 2012, tive um problema pelo fato de terem feito uma carga em meu cartão de crédito em valor quase o dobro do valor devido em diárias, o que me causou um certo prejuízo, pois se tratava de cartão pré-carregado e tive que ouvir diversas vezes durante o prosseguimento da viagem que meu cartão havia sido "declined" e eu não sabia o porquê, até quando consultei o saldo e vi esse absurdo. Mas, o hotel é excelente.

O hotel é bom, mas não é um ambiente muito familiar pois tem bastante festas na piscina. O estacionamento deve ser pago por dia no valor de U$41 e tem uma taxa adicional que você paga na hora que chega (cerca de U$ 400 para 11 dias). O atendimento é bom pela equipe de limpeza.

Es un hotel muy caro té cobran por todo hay impuestos que no te dicen en tu reservación que tienes que pagar muy mal servicio por parte del personal e información de los servicios que ofrecen el valet parking excelente es lo único que lo salva

Hotel de mucho movimento mafioso. Bonita la recepcion, pero los quartos estan demasiado usados e susios. Para 4 personas tambien poderian hacer una separacion en el quarto principal.Atencion tiene que pagar 1000€ de caucion para la habitacion.No recomendo para personas que querian relaxar, porqueay muchas fiestas e mucha drogas en este hotel...Pixina muy sucia tambien.Lo que me ha gustao es la localizacion.

Staff was very friendly, room was not so great. Could not adjust AC temp in room and unit was very loud. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. No carpet in room, all tile, which may be unpleasant for some. Resort fee was not a part of what we paid when booking online, not there fault, but unexpected. For the price we paid, I’d stay elsewhere next time. Restaurant food and service was excellent.

Okay so what use to be my favorite place to stay when coming to my second home in Miami is no longer, to make it short over the past 3 visits in few months staff has changed I use to be familiar with staff these days you can’t keep up Ms Florence (manager ) of the front desk was very uninviting upon arrival she did not great us well she an attitude and cut me off mid conversation when I ask to speak with Ms Teresa who was well aware of my concerns with my booking prior to my arrival I was basically ignored & told byMs Florence (manager)I’m going to deal with her she’s the manager & Ms Teresa will have to come to her anyway. Friday 8/12 I received a room with non working televisions both living room and bedroom I reported to management & the following morning 8/13 I had two technicians come and try and fix them the techs could not fix the problem and reported it to managementalso requested for a change of my room because they said it would not be a possible to fix the televisions, I went out for the day when I return I called management Frustrated that I was still in a room with nonworking televisions .I was told I can be moved to a new roomit was 2am when Someone finally came upstairs with the key to move meout of my current room to my new room ,he said I will have to move while he’s here he cannot give me my new room key . I was already in bed and said I need time to pack it’s 2 am I’m not moving right now I’ll move early morning.Sunday 8/14 there was no follow up for my new room I was so over my stay that I just remained in my current room for my checkout today 8/15 of all my 100 stays & recommendations I gave to my family & friends about the Mondrian I would never expect such poor morale from staff especially management I must say ms Teresa was such a pleasant lady to speak with before I left I had to meet her personally she was very patient,and caring about my concerns unfortunately it was not much she could do upon my departure. Overall worst experience at Mondrian I would hope for better management if I decide to visit again

I’ve stayed here before and had a wonderful time so I wanted to stay again!!! This place has really changed. You can see from the pictures The room is very dirty. I didn’t want to step or touch anything. The couch and rug is worn and stained. It was foundation smeared all over the place. I found three used eyelash strips laying around. The shower is filthy. It doesn’t give a luxury vibe and it makes you immediately start checking for bed bugs. I called for house keeping several times and went to the front desk. She arrived three hours later with a dry rag that didn’t clean anything. Even after she left the eyelash was still sitting on the floor. I used Clorox wipes to get up all the foundation she left and she refused to vacuum the rug. I can also hear the person above me, absolutely nooo sound proofing. I would never stay here again.The front desk lady and the bell hop where very nice upon arrival.

I travel frequently for work and this has been one of the better hotels I’ve stayed at since Covid. A lot of 4/5 star hotels have become lax on cleaning but not this place! They manage to come and clean your room every day at some point while I’m out. I left at all different times and would come back to find it clean and tidied.
Front desk was very helpful!
And the valet was fantastic they’re very fast and really keep it moving out front. I usually hate mandatory valet because it takes forever but they’re super quick.
Only small downside I would say it’s a very “hot spot”. Lots of liveliness which is fun if you’re into it but if you’re traveling for work a lot you may want to consider somewhere else especially if you’re there on a Fri/Sat night.
TL/DR: very clean - housekeeping comes often. Valet and front desk are extremely nice, quick, and efficient.

La atención muy buena. a remarcar que cuando llegas para hacer el check in en recepción, te invitan a una copita de champán para que empieces su estancia de la mejor forma posible. la atención del bellboy que sabía tanto español,portugués e inglés, creo que se llamaba Kaislah, excelente. Nos ayudo el primer día con el equipaje pero nos iba recomendado sitios que visitar en miami de una forma muy cercana. Por otra parte, comimos y cenamos también y la atención excelente. Te hacen estar muy cómodos en tu estancia.los negocios lo hacen las personas y en este caso fueron de 10. en cuanto al acomodo, la habitación muy nueva y cuidada. los espacios comunes muy bonitos, (me llamaron la atención los ascensores), teniendo como zona principal el pool con vistas al bay de south beach muy buenas

The spa is beautiful !I went last week for a massage to relieve my aching body, my massage therapist was fantastic. She not only has great technique but also combines The massage with some stretching which greatly alleviated the soreness and made me feel refreshed. The amenities were great and the cbd green tea in the relaxation room hit the spot, tastes amazing. The spa staff was very kind and make the entire experience absolutely wonderful. Definitely I going back and highly recommend this spa.

My husband booked for our anniversary. Beautiful hotel, great staff and nice location I would definitely recommend the spa for anyone who is looking to get a nice massage and have some relaxing time either alone or as a couple. The massage therapists are amazing and take their time to listen to the requests. Front desk girl was super friendly and polite! Will definitely go again!

Excelente hotel, confortable, excelente vista, muy bien ubicado. Algunos empleados hablan español entonces se facilita más la comunicación para los Latinos. La zona de la piscina increíble el bar es bastante bueno y completo. Un saludo especial a Catalina del Lobby quien me recibió y me atendió de la mejor manera, ojalá pudiese poder hablar con ella para agradecerle su amabilidad

Definitivamente este emblematico Hotel de la Ciudad de Miami Beach con su original Art Deco District muestra el Lujo la vanguardia de la Ciudad mezclada con la arquitectura de los años 50 podrás ver los lujos carros de las celebridades del Deporte como el Bugatti de 1.8 Millones de $ en aquel momento año 2011

El hotel está muy bien situado.Dos cosas para destacar: la escalera maravillosa de Philipe Stark y la mega piscina con vistas a la bahía que es única, maravillosa y con un ambiente genial.Los empleados no son los más simpáticos del mundo pero son correctos y amables.La habitación que me dieron era enorme como un apartamento y bien de precio para ser Miami.Volveré.
