Originally opened in 1927 as the Davis Hotel this Chicago landmark has 306 rooms on 14 floors. Rooms have 40-inch flat-panel TVs and luxuriously soft beds with pillowtop mattresses 400-thread-count Frette linens down comforters and fluffy pillows. The granite countertops and rainfall showerheads provide more luxe touches. Wi-Fi is available for a fee. The on-site American bistro serves breakfast and lunch and there's also a martini bar. The fitness room and the business center are both open 24 hours a day. Parking is offered at an extra charge. Located at the north end of Magnificent Mile the Millennium Knickerbocker is a stone's throw from the Mile's high-end boutiques. The CTA's Chicago Red Line is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Walk four minutes south to the open-air skywalk at the John Hancock Observatory or stroll a few minutes southeast to Navy Pier. “I was happy with our stay at the MK. The rooms were a little dated, but the bathroom was nice, the bed was comfortable and it wasn't at all noisy. Nice location on a quiet (for Chicago) street. Just a block from the Hancock Building and Michigan Avenue, and to a tunnel to the lake. Not sure why they charge a $15/night resort fee. Must be taking cues from Vegas, or Ticket Master on how to take more money from guests.”

“Room was very clean and nice, but what sold me on it was the customer service!! I had to check in late as I'm on a cross country business trip. Jude was absolutely amazing! He helped me get a room in a crazy city. And after 20plus years in hospitality he was by far the best!!! I will definitely stay here again because of his willingness to help and professionalism”
