The rooms aren’t terrible but they could use some work. I’ve stayed at Hyatts that looked better. Room was clean except someone should probably clean the air vents and air unit so dust isn’t flying out of it. There was also a weird odor on our floor. I probably would stay somewhere else next time.

We checked in around 10 PM. Around 11 PM/midnight, a transformer nearby blew and all the hotels nearby lost power including ours. The woman at the front desk handled the outage very well. She helped guests move around and provided us with updates. Her staying level headed helped keep everyone calm. Everything else here was great, clean rooms, good AC, everything needed to get good rest. We were so well rested, we stopped by a nearby beach on the way home even though we hadn't planned to. I'll be back if I get the chance. Great place to stay, great staff.

Elsa at the front is the best possible person ever, she is so nice and kind and we were making jokes. The hotel looks very nice, only thing was surprising was the toilet and shower was in a little room and then the sink was out of it. The beds were very comfortable and I slept very good! The gym is nice and clean, cold too which feels amazing! The breakfast is good and has good options. I had a very nice time at this hotel and will come back if it’s needed

We had reservation here because of the pool being inside . Our money was taken then we were informed pool was closed due to COVID but note on door read that it had maintenance issues . Then we needed to do laundry and we were told again after getting change from the front desk that the guest laundry wasn't working . But yet we came in from dinner one night and a guest was using it . We were gonna just get our money back for the stay but we were told it would be days before we would have our money back . Hotel is very nice . Room was nice. Breakfast you are better off going down the street to Denny's . If you've kids looking to swim you better go elsewhere. We won't be back !

Hyatt never disappoints with its consistent amenities and excellent services. This is my fourth stay at the property. It is conveniently located just about 11 miles or 15 minutes from Charleston downtown and has plenty of food options 1-2 minute drive from the hotel. But what makes this property special is the ever courteous staff. Jason (GM) was extremely welcoming and helpful and he ensured my preferred room was ready at the earliest. The culture of the organization can be well determined when the newest member of the team exhibits the same level of service. Sarah, thank you for your zeal to extend highest standard of hospitality. Congratulations and continued success on the Hyatt team. Thank you! Will be returning again. 😊
