“I recently visited the beaches at Baha Mar and was extremely disappointed with the level of crowding and the constant bother from vendors. The beaches were so packed that it was difficult to find a seat and enjoy the scenery. The vendors were also very pushy and would not take no for an answer. This made the overall experience quite unpleasant. I would not recommend visiting these beaches during peak season or if you're looking for a relaxing beach experience.
While there we dined at Carne restaurant at Baha Mar, and while the steak I had was cooked to perfection, the prices were exorbitant. All of the steaks on the menu were north of $80, making it an awfully expensive meal. The portions were also small for the unreasonable prices. While the steak was good, the prices were too steep for my taste. I would not recommend dining here unless you're willing to pay a premium for your meal.
Although the staff were courteous, the rooms were extremely small and the prices were outrageous. The casino was nice, but it was not enough to make up for the poor value of the rooms. I would not return to this hotel due to the high prices alone.”
