Wonderful hotel! Overall I had a great stay here. The downgrade was for attention to detail. Someone else's leftovers was left in my fridge. It wasn't a big deal, and I just threw it away. Service was excellent! The concierge was fast and helpful with the few things I asked of them. The hotel itself is beautiful. The layout is confusing, but that's somewhat to be expected in an older building.

An iconic hotel situated in an excellent area if your are visiting Ottawa. You will br walking distance from parliament hill and other touristic attractions. Pros:Staff is great and take their jobs seriously. You will feel welcome the moment you enter the hotel. Rooms are big and really clean. The bar offers a great selection to chose from. Food is great and really well served. Cons: this is an expensive place. At night you can hear all the noise from the hall and elevators. And if you have noisy neighbors you will be listening them all time. Deco is old fashioned but alas provides a great impact if you consider that you are sleeping in a castle.

My weekend at the fairmount can only be described as magical. The hotel was originally a castle plus I met a princess 😉 Its more affordable now but the service, decòr, and amenities (be it limited) are still top notch. The mezzanine makes for great photoshoots.

Delightful afternoon enjoying the delicious Holiday Tea menu. Great service all around; staff from door-to-table were helpful and friendly. Top-notch customer service from Arthur who helped me book a follow on reservation so I can return with my family. He also helped me purchase their special earl grey blend in a lovely tin so I can extend my experience at home. Thanks for the wonderful Holiday spirit Chateau Laurier!

Muy bonito y personal muy atento, me apoyaron mucho cuando tuve un retraso de un día por la cancelación de mi tren. La vista es hermosa en cualquier cuarto pero los de atrás se dirigen hacia el río Ottawa y Quebec. Muy recomendable, sobre todo en invierno donde está el río congelado

The hotel is magical. It is beautifully decorated, makes you want to do a photoshoot. Lovely rooms and excellent service all around. The breakfast is very overpriced but the selection is phenomenal. Location and experience make this hotel an exceptional experience. Highly recommend it.

Disappointed compared to other Fairmont locations. Parking and food are insanely expensive (and $27 for WiFi!!!!!!) at an already pricey hotel. Room was clean and bell hop.service was great, staff were very accommodating, and the restaurant patio is stunning. Good location. I would probably save my $ and stay elsewhere, but would consider revisiting for dining/drinks on patio.

Great historic hotel right downtown, across from Parliament. We had a great stay and enjoyed our whole time at the hotel. The patio was decorated with beautiful flowers. The only downside was due to Covid-19, maid service was not available during our stay. However, they brought us extra towels and soaps. The location was perfect for walking around this city.

Went to patio for drinks. Beautiful place building impressive. Great video parliament buildings and Rideau canal. Drinks were good and staff was class. Excellent sanitizing process being followed.. Kudos
