It has been many years since I stayed in one of the Disney budget hotels, and I was pleasantly surprised by the updates. Check in was a breeze on the app and the room was ready when we arrived. The room was immaculately clean and the Disney appointments were tasteful and fun. It's not a huge room, but perfectly adequate. Lighting is good and there are tons of plugs for your electronics. A fridge and safe are provided. Bathroom is small but adequate. There are plenty of cafeteria-style food options. And transportation right to the gate at Magic Kingdom is a convenient plus.

We recently stayed here with my in-laws who needed a handicap wheelchair accessible room. We arrived extremely early for check-in and kindly asked if they had a room available for check in, willing to pay for an extra night to rest because we were THAT early. The front desk cast member was willing to check what they had and if he could check us in early. Lucky for us, they had a non-accessible room to check us into. The next morning, I kindly asked if we could switch to accessible and the cast member didn't hesitate to see what she could do to help us. I was so surprised at their willingness to help. The resort itself was clean, the grounds were tidy, and I found no trash in the hallways and stairwells. Our family has stayed deluxe, moderate, and value. All Star Movies is tied with Beach Club for our favorite resort. The cast members are amazing, the resort is clean and up-kept, and the overall guest vibe is great. A lot of people may worry about the buses. The Disney buses were on time and we only knowingly shared a bus with the other All Star resorts once. Even then, we never had to stand. We actually had terrible bus service at the deluxe resorts in the past AND on this trip. Buses were never a problem at All Star Movies. We will definitely be back again and again!

If you've missed out on the big resorts and find yourself "compromising" for this series of resorts (Movies, Music, and Sports), don't worry too much! Although they're further from the park and only have bus service there, the hotels themselves are pretty cool. Our room was small, but cozy. Everything was very clean and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. They make good use of the small space, so you still have everything you need. I really appreciated that they still included coffee and a fridge. The staff, as typical for Disney, was awesome. I made a stupid, big mistake in our reservation and not only did the check in clerk help, but she put me at ease when I almost started crying over it. I would definitely stay again!

We obviously read some of the reviews before booking, some of them are quite bad, so we went in with low expectations. We were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are clean, simple, and fulfill our needs very well, with a fridge, and a safe. They were cleaned and we were provided with fresh towels every other day, but if we needed anything, we just had to ask, nothing was too much trouble. The staff were fantastic, attentive, friendly and there are lots of them, so you are still too quicker. My one issue is the location. It's out of the way, and getting anywhere means relying on the park transportation or taxi. It would be nice to be able to walk somewhere for alternative food options (the food court is not somewhere I would choose to eat here!).

Good option for a budget hotel. Would have liked to have a microwave in the room for convenience as the main dining area is a bit of a walk esp. with kids. Rooms are a good size, a bit tight when the wall bed comes down but only during bedtime. Bathrooms were clean and functional, no complaints. Room service comes either daily or every 3 days, per your personal preference. Sad thing is magic bands are not free anymore but work well across the resort and parks. Only place they don't work is at the laundrette so be sure to take your debit or credit card with you - no cash. Food options are good for a good court, wish they would change it up a bit but no major complaints at all. Our price was 129$ per night in early October for a preferred room. We were in the Toy Story building, which I highly recommend given it's proximity to the pools, food court, and laundrette. Pool games and other activities were a nice added touch. Loved the movie decor throughout the resort.

Were told while booking a room via telephone call that check-in was at 3pm. We left our bags at concierge (or somewhere in the front where they had this service) and was told they would be delivered to our room. Came back at check-in at 3pm and we were told check-in would be available during 3-5pm (2 hours and staff avoided to specify when exactly). We waited another 40 mins and decided to chase for our room. Got a room, went in and waited ages for our bags. Called them and they seemed confused about where our bags were. Two-three hours after getting in our room was when the bags arrived and was this not ridiculous? They said the bags went somewhere else. A big let down staying with Disney. Room looked a bit old but still acceptable. The only advantage is that you can travel to the theme parks easily staying in there.

Very happy with the resort appearance, cleanliness, food court, etc. Not happy with the mandatory daily room inspections. It would've been no big deal if it was mentioned outright, but we didn't find out until I noticed the curtains were being opened every day and I leave them closed. Just be aware that if you stay on site at Disney and opt out of room service, someone will still enter your room daily and you may get caught in an embarrassing moment, as the employees do not wait too long for a response before opening the door! Everything was always exactly as we left it except for the blinds, but it would've been nice to know ahead of time.

A great Disney experience at affordable prices. The accommodations are adequate and comfortable, but certainly not glamorous and that's okay. What you save on frills allows you to upgrade to a family suite (which I had during my stay). Plenty of sleeping space as the couch, chair AND ottoman convert to quality beds. The toilets are loud, and you can easily hear other rooms flush. Large pools, huge property. The food court is crowded, but the food is good quality. A good place for a family stay while visiting Disney. Again, this is a bargain-level property. Tempered expectations will result in a more positive experience.

Good price especially with the Disney transportation included. This resort is pretty big though and it was a bit confusing at first to find my room. The water has that heavy clorinated taste, so if you are sensitive to that I suggest you bring your own water. The wait staff and ladies at the register in the dinning area are absolutely fabulous though. Made for a great girls get away. Can't wait to return to Disney for future adventures.

While the room decor seemed a bit dated, our stay was excellent. The family suite was roomy and clean. Housekeeping was observant and left extras of things we were using more frequently. We even returned from the parks to find my daughter's stuffed animal "looking out of" the window. I appreciated the option of online check-in and door unlock with the app. We had just driven 15+ hours and it was a relief to skip the front desk and just crash. The hotel atmosphere was nice, it wasn't too busy or loud and the limited staff that I did interact with were friendly and helpful.

A great experience. Check in was an easy process, particularly with the online check in. The resort is well kept and clean, as you would expect from any Disney hotel. If planning on staying at Disney an All Star resort is a budget option. The rooms themselves were good, although for a family of four your standard room would become quite cramped. Obliviously the price is a little higher than your typical budget hotel outside of Disney but the proximity to the parks and the Disney buses are very convenient. Also the extra magic hours and other bonus offerings add to the overall price you pay.

We love the Disney Value Resorts. Since we don't spend much time in the room these resorts are perfect. We showed up this year to the surprise that our room was upgraded to a family suite. This was extremely nice considering we have a toddler. Everyone at the resort is extremely helpful. They go out of their way to make sure your stay is magical. Housekeeping always did little extras to our room which was an added surprise. We had to visit the front desk a couple times and they were always quick too assist. Can't wait to go back again!

Recently returned from quick trip down to Disney. Resort room was quite nice - really soft, comfortable beds, clean bathroom, and a nice privacy curtain between the main room and the vanity. Pools were both sparkling and clean and the poolside activities were entertaining, especially the trivia. Easy-to-use laundry facilities, large food court area, and bus services were frequent and efficient. Bell services was phenomenal - we left our luggage with them on both arrival and departure to maximize our time in the parks and they couldn’t have been easier to work with. All in all, it’s a low-key, affordable resort with plenty of Disney charm to go around.
