Interesting architecture, and design led hotel, that possibly missed some of more fundamental functional uses for the building eg 3 lifts servicing 10 floors. Our room was on the 9th floor and whilst perfectly OK was looking a little tired. Our air con was quiet but struggled to cool the room below 23C (all the air inputs from the room were blocked with fluff- bad servicing?) Neither shower held a constant temperature but reasonable sized bathroom and bath. We had a family room with bunk beds and a nice king-sized bed. Room was a good size with lots of space. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast choices were good, a standard range of buffet breakfast style options. Be careful of the chairs as our 4 year old tipped himself over when getting onto the chair, but staff heard the scream and responded with a glass of ice to help his bruised lip. Pool on top floor a great addition but don't expect to get a lounger as space is tight (could be improved by removing areas devoted to architectural white stones?) Great roof bar, nice wines, but poor cocktails and Heineken as the beer on tap. Restaurant was closed in evening so Hotel could only offer us bar snacks or toasties/pizza at pool bar, (but this may be seasonal - we went end July?) Would I go back... maybe... if the price was right possibly- really nothing wrong with the hotel and it has friendly staff but with the Princess, and AC closer to the beach....

Very comfortable and smart hotel with gym, rooftop pool and bar. Friendly staff and very good breakfast. The actual area around the hotel is a bit run down, (though safe), just old warehouses, and boarded up premises. However, there are bars for good value meals within 10 minutes. Shopping centre and beach are only about 15 minutes walk and it's very easy to get into central Barcelona on the metro. Considering the high standard of the hotel for the relatively low price I think it's definitely very good value for money.

The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The service was great. The location doesn't offer much. I noticed that all the doors seemed to slam in order to close which could be disturbing if you are trying to rest. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

Just had 3 nights here. 15 minute walk from the beach. The hotel is good, the rooftop bar and pool are amazing and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. It's a bit out from the main centre of Barcelona but there is a tram stop just down the road which is cheap and very easy to use and runs into the early morning (2am I think) so don't let location put you off.

The hotel was very nice. Excellent service from the front desk and the cleaners. We were made to feel very welcome. Good facilities, pool, lounge area, gym & steam room all included. The hotel is a little bit out of the way, there is a metro stop 10 minutes away, but the area doesn't seem brilliant. Nevertheless, the hotel in itself was fantastic.

WOULD NOT STAY AGAIN! The hotel was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. Starting with the room which was fairly basic, there was no charger ports next to the bed and were all the way across the room and one of them didn't even work. We complained about this to the receptionist and he said 'there is nothing he can do about it'. The sauna wasn't working for our entire stay which we were really looking forward to, meaning there was not much to do in the hotel as the swimming pool was closed due to the season. The selection of food was horrific so we ended up not ordering room service. Service wasn't great, my partner had to call twice to get an iron and they took 25 minutes to bring it up to the room. The breakfast was horrible, I do not eat pork and they only had that and egg as a hot food option. It wasn't in the best location as it was a 10 minute walk from the metro and was quite deserted at night. The hotel room looked fairly used and worn out which is not what you are expecting when you pay that much and look at the pictures online. Overall would not recommend this hotel to anyone, not worth the price!

The location was a disappointment. The hotel is quite remote from the city center. You need to use tube to get to the center and any tourist attractions. The nearest station is a minimum of 8 minutes walk along not the most attractive streets. Overall it is about 30 - 35 minutes journey each way to the center. The hotel’s surrounding area looks industrial. The bed and pillows were too hard for me. So I had two nights of uncomfortable sleep No kettle in the room, so you can’t make any tea or coffee Breakfast was good. You pay 10 Euro pp while you are checking in or 14 Euro pp if you pay later. You can get Barcelona views from the hotel roof, which is a bonus.

Stayed here for the second time when visiting Barcelona. Still 5/5 stars for me. Friendly staff always greeting us when we are going in and around the hotel. Breakfast was wonderful. Rooftop bar and drinks was lovely - felt at home!

The room was well equipped, with a king size bed and enough space around it. The bathroom and hot tub were comfortable and the towels were super soft and fluffy. Breakfast was well assorted and had a variety of salty and sweet for everyone. Nice selection of juices, fresh fruit and breads. The staff was very nice, polite and helpful every time we interacted with them. It's a great hotel and I highly recommend it, specially if your business take place on the north side of the city.

Perfect hotel, perfect services. The rooftop with the pool was amazing. Metro was a bit far away but there is the bus stop at 70mt from the hotel. Breakfast was excellent.
