“Secrets Cap Cana is an amazing resort. My fiance and I spent the week of Christmas here and it was nearly prefect. I had never been to an all inclusive resort before and it was just a great experience.
Highlights:
The resort itself. Honestly this place was breathtaking. The beach and pool areas are stunning. The room was lovely and when you walk in you just feel like you're in a picture.
The staff. Every single staff member we spoke to was amazing. They really wanted us to have a great vacation.
The food. I was worried going in because I've heard negative things about all inclusive resorts and food but I was pleasantly surprised. Most of the food was good (the buffet was constantly solid) and some was even great (the seafood at Oceania restaurant).
The spa. I booked us a couple massage ahead of time as a Christmas present. It was truly lovely. The spa is stunning and you feel more relaxed just walking in. Our massages were great and we felt very pampered.
What could be improved:
Constantly selling us. We booked an all inclusive resort assuming we would have minimal other spending, but we were constantly being sold something from excursions (which we did do) to expensive wines (not something we wanted) to a vacation club membership (something we were not interested in but they pushed).
Check in: Check in was for the most part great, they greated us with champagne and a cool towel. But they took our bags to the room separately and we ended up waiting nearly an hour in our room for our bags. It was a big of a rough start when all we wanted to do was shower and get changed.”

“I loved every single second! If I could go back right now, I would be on a plane in a minute! The staff was exceptional! The rooms were big. The bed was comfortable. I loved the shower with the 2 shower heads. We had a swim-out, which was great in itself. The food was good. The grounds were well maintained and very nicely decorated. I went for a friends wedding. It was on the beach, it was magical!”
